The Matrix, dissected

I went to see The Matrix today. Good fun, even if it's not exactly what I'd call a good film. It seemed as if the Wachowski brothers were desperately trying to make a serious film, and so put lots of cod philosophy into it, and some fancy foreign language stuff. Which was apparently meant to be rude but wasn't really. On the other hand, there was plenty of fighting and some nice big explosions. So everything was alright.
